The Patriots handed Rex Ryan and his Bills a 40-32 defeat back in Week 2 in Buffalo and Ryan is hoping for a different result.
Since then, the Bills have righted the ship, and have won two straight against the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.
“I know we have improved as a football team,” said Ryan, whose club has won three of four on the road. “How much have we improved? We are going to find out on Monday.”
For the Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick’s team will have to overcome injuries to keep their perfect season intact. New England then narrowly escaped with a 27-26 road win on Stephen Gostkowski’s 54-yard field goal with one second left.
Julian Edelman who led the team with 61 receptions was lost for the remainder of the season with a broken bone in his foot.
“You wish you could just plug someone else in, but that’s impossible,” quarterback Tom Brady said.
“Julian Edelmans just aren’t sitting out on the street, or else they’d be playing for another team.”
Tom Brady is leading the league with 24 touchdown passes and threw for 466 yards with 3 touchdowns against Buffalo. Thats something the Bills will have to fix or it could a long cold night for Buffalo fans.
Buffalo has gone to running the ball more using a pair of backs in Karlos Williams and LeSean McCoy and that migh be the best way to keep Brady and company off the field.
