Detroit Lions super receiver Calvin Johnson took part in practice on Wednesday, but the Lions listed Johnson and four others as questionable for Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Johnson has been listed as questionable for the past two weeks against the Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders and has shown up on game day.
The Lions have played better football of late and the Eagles hit a new low for 2015 last week, being decimated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and five touchdown passes by Jameis Winston.
A 10-win team each of the last two years, the Eagles have been a major disappointment this season.
They rank third in the NFL with 21 takeaways, and their 12 interceptions are tied for sixth in the league. Still expect Matthew Stafford and Johnson to hook up for a couple of touchdowns in a Lions win.
